PROPTIUM a young French company owned by Pierre Maller (former technical manager from Jacob Holm France with a long experience in Nonwovens production processes), specialized in optimisation of production processes and in improving of process performance signed end of 2018 a cooperation contract with one of the leading company in geotextile production.
The first step of this cooperation contract is to install PIKAIA (the optimisation software) on a PP spunbond technology line who produce more than 15'000 tons per year of geotextile.
Thanks to improvment of product performances, and a better bonding index, the geotextile producer will save raw material and improve the quality of the products. In the same time, the producer will reduce his amount of waste, save energy and improve the production efficiency.
This type of contract is the second signed by PROPTIUM for a spunbond line, but several Spunlace producer all around the world (Germany, Poland, France, United States) are using now this software to optimise in real time their production processes.
